Hi there, you’ve found Cloverdale!

We’re a bunch of smaller communities that meet regularly across the Geelong region to share life and work out what it means to follow Jesus. We’re all different but once a month we like to gather as a bigger group to catchup and spend some time in worship. While some of us at Cloverdale were born in Australia, others of us have come from Karen State and other places around the world. Together we welcome those who have not yet found a people or place to belong to –contact us here for more info!

Sunday@10

Sunday@10 meets each Sunday at 10am at the Cloverdale Centre except for the first Sunday of each month when members of this community gather with other faith communities at our Combined Monthly Gathering held in the main auditorium. Visitors can expect friendly faces, a cuppa and some singing. There is also time for praying, hearing the bible read, followed by someone who will present a short talk based around the bible. The setting is informal, and everyone is welcome to participate.

Karen Worship Service 1pm

The Karen, hold a worship service in the Karen language each Sunday at 1pm in the main Auditorium. All are welcome. The Karen run a full Sunday School program that coincides with the Sunday Worship. Throughout the week, the Karen meet in various homes for regular prayer and each Sunday at 10am, the Karen women organise a meeting except for the first Sunday of each month when they join with the Combined Monthly Gathering.

The Gathering

Combined Monthly Gatherings are a time for all our Faith Communities to come together to participate in worship and fellowship. Our Gatherings are a little different each time and we are working toward all of our communities of faith being able to contribute to this time of worship. A time of fellowship over food is part of this time and everyone is encouraged to bring something to eat as well as a non-perishable item for our food bank.
